Billing your stores for usage is imperative in keeping both your and your tenants’ costs down. Many landlords state that a store cannot afford to pay for the water. Our answer: if you don’t bill the stores for their water usage, they will use significantly more water at your expense. Other clients indicate that they simply pass the charges along from the DEP (where direct sub-meters still exist); however by doing so you are now relying on the DEP to issue proper water bills. Remember, the deed holder is ultimately responsible to pay all DEP charges. Our minimal service charges eliminate all of these situations.
